Privacy & terms
How this website handles data and use.
Who is responsible
The operator of Amogus.be, hosted in the Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data used to run this website and server. Privacy, data-access and deletion requests can be sent toinfo@amogus.be.
Website
The website has no general visitor accounts, analytics or advertising. It sets no cookie during ordinary browsing. If you choose public donor attribution, the donation service sets a short-lived, essential sign-in cookie after Discord verification. Its hosting and security provider may process IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser or system details and traffic-routing data to deliver and protect the site. This processing is based on the operator's legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website.
The operator does not create separate visitor profiles from these logs. Technical and security data is kept only for as long as needed to operate the site, investigate abuse or meet legal obligations.
When a page loads live server status, your browser requests it from the Amogus.be status service, which is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may receive your IP address and standard request information. The status service then checks the Minecraft server; it does not send your IP address to the game server.
Bitcoin donations and donor leaderboard
Donations are processed by the Amogus.be donation service and BTCPay Server, with website and API traffic delivered through Cloudflare. The operator processes the requested euro amount, an internal order and invoice reference, payment state and settlement time. Bitcoin addresses and transaction information are also visible to BTCPay and on the public Bitcoin network. Anonymous donations are not linked to a Discord or Minecraft identity and never create an anonymous leaderboard row.
Public leaderboard attribution is optional and off by default. If you enable it, Discord OAuth verifies your Discord user ID and current display name. If you choose a Minecraft name, the server's existing Discord-to-Minecraft account link verifies the current Minecraft UUID and name. The public leaderboard shows only rank, the chosen verified name and the cumulative settled euro total. It never publishes Discord IDs, Minecraft UUIDs, invoice IDs, wallet addresses or transaction IDs.
You can hide or restore your public entry on the Support page or with the Discord /donor hide and /donor showcommands. Hiding removes the public name and amount but does not erase payment and accounting records. Payment records are retained for security, accounting and legal obligations; identity data is kept only while needed for attribution, moderation or those obligations. Contact the operator to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
Minecraft server
When you join, the server may process your Minecraft username, UUID, IP address, connection times, chat, gameplay and moderation records. Public chat, builds, signs and other world activity may be seen by other players and may appear in server screenshots. Do not put real-world personal information in public game content.
This data is used to provide the server, protect its infrastructure, enforce its limited rules and resolve abuse or technical problems. The legal basis is the operator's legitimate interest in running and securing the community and providing the service requested when you connect.
Routine records are kept only while operationally necessary. Server backups are retained for up to 30 days. Ban, abuse, security or legal records may be kept longer where needed to protect the server, its players or legal rights.
Discord and voting
Discord is optional unless you choose to take part in community voting. Discord processes data under its ownprivacy policy. Server administrators and bots may process your Discord user ID, Minecraft UUID, linked-account status, roles, messages and moderation records.
Voting eligibility is calculated from linked-account status, Minecraft playtime, time since first joining and the owner-exclusion rule. This automation only grants or removes the community voter role; it does not make a legal or similarly significant decision. Contact the operator if the eligibility information is incorrect.
Private player reports may contain Discord and Minecraft identifiers, a description of the incident, its approximate time and an optional evidence link. Report records and their private moderation-channel messages are normally deleted after 90 days. Information may be kept longer where it is needed for an active safety, abuse or legal matter. Moderation appeals can be sent toinfo@amogus.be.
Providers and international transfers
Infrastructure and community services may be provided by Cloudflare, Discord, Microsoft and Mojang. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own legal safeguards and privacy terms. The operator does not sell personal data.
Your privacy rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some requests may be limited where data must be retained for security, legal obligations or the rights of others.
You may also lodge a complaint with the DutchAutoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
